Record Player
By: Josh Turnbull
The record player that you gave me never really worked.
The volumes, left and right, sporadically, would each go berserk.
It sits collecting dust and piles of paper bill that I neglect.
I need a new one so the old one I can reach out and give back.
I sent a picture text reminding you your record player’s here.
I seem to recall you had mentioned that it came from someone dear.
It such a shame to see an antique gem like that just go to waste.
But when I moved up to my hometown I just left it in it’s place.
